Bettye Jo Terrell, 82, of Mount Washington, Kentucky, passed away on January 16, 2026, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on July 3, 1943 in McKinney, Texas, to the late Tom Wilson and Emma (Angel) Wilson. Bettye married Donald Terrell on December 2, 2002 and he preceded her in death on May 8, 2004. She attended Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Bettye dedicated over a decade of her life to the Claude Reynolds Insurance Agency Inc. As a Claims Processor, where she was known for her commitment and attention to detail. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. To them, she was not just a grandmother but a source of warmth, guidance, and unwavering support. In addition to her parents and late husband, Donald, Bettye is preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Wilson. Bettye is survived by one son, Kyle (Monica) Kennedy of Louisville, Kentucky; one daughter, Cynthia Kraft of Louisville, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Michael Shaw, Maria Kraft, Kristen Kraft, Taylor (Jonathan) Kuo, Shelby (Duncan) Wiesemann, Shane Kennedy, and Trevor Kennedy. A graveside service to honor Bettye's memory will take place at Scottsburg Cemetery on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 11:00 am. Online condolences:www.collinsfuneralhome.net
