Betty Perkins was born to Linzy and Gladys Villers on February 6, 1932 in Kearney, MO.

She married Billy Teegarden Sr. on August 2, 1949, which resulted in the birth of five children. After their divorce she met the love of her life, Glenn Perkins. He passed away too soon after 10 short years of marriage. Now they are together again.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Linzy and Gladys Villers; brothers, Bill Villers, Paul Villers, David Villers, and Linzy Villers Jr.; sisters, Mary Stanley, Barbara Clevenger, and Margaret Moore; one son, Linzy Teegarden; one daughter, Betty Dye; and two son-in-laws, Bobby Swicegood and Don Covert.

Betty is survived by daughters, Paula (Jim) Thompson of Glen Rose, Texas, and Mary Covert of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; son, Billy (Sharon) Teegarden of Excelsior Springs, Mo; nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Betty was a Christian woman and is now with God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and many family members and friends.

We want to thank Appl Orchard Hospice for their wonderful care they provided the last four months of her life.

A family celebration of her life will be held on November 1, 2025, noon -? at 94 Stratton St., Excelsior Springs, Mo.
