Beula Marie Henderson Woodruff

Beula Marie Henderson Woodruff, daughter of Dallas Elton Henderson, Sr. and Hilda Augusta Stewart Henderson was born December 25, 1925 in Bridgeville, PA and passed away July 21, 2025 at home with family at her side. After graduation from Trinity High School Class of 1944, she was employed by the West Penn Power Company as a bookkeeper. She married Frank Woodruff in 1950. They had 65 years of marriage. While living on the Woodruff Farms, Beula was bookkeeper for the Woodruff vendor business. When the Washington County Farmers Association was organized, Beula served as a second secretary to the directors.
While a member of the Chartiers "Hill" United Presbyterian Church, Beula served as an organist, Sunday School teacher, co-leader of a Youth Group, and leader of a Home Economics 4-H Club. She was very active in the Women's Association of PA Farm Bureau and other extra activities of the church. After Woodruff Farms was sold in 1997, Beula and Frank moved to Washington, PA and transferred their church membership to Faith United Presbyterian Church.
Beula was a 7th Degree 70-year member of North Strabane Grange and served as secretary for many years. She was the first matron for the newly organized North Strabane Junior Grange.
During their retirement, Frank and Beula traveled in their motorhome and toured 46 of the 50 United States.
Deceased besides her parents are two brothers Elton Henderson and Neil Henderson. Surviving are one son Gary D. (Deborah) Woodruff of Washington, PA; two daughters Janet (John) Ross of Huber Heights, OH where Beula lived a few years; Donna (Ken) Klink of Huber Heights, OH. Also survived are six grandchildren Stephanie Woodruff of Washington, PA, Melissa Ross of OH, Elizabeth Ross of TN, Rachel Ross of OH, Ellen Klink of IN, and K. Brian Klink, Jr. of KY, and one great grandson K. Brian Klink, III.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 4-8 p.m. in the mausoleum at Woodruff Memorial Park, 2095 Washington Road, Canonsburg (724-745-7008), where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. Please add tributes at www.beinhauer.com.
