Beverlee Anne Ewashko (née Smaltz), age 95, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, after a long and beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and family.

Born on December 11, 1929, in Girard, Ohio, Beverlee raised her family in her hometown before moving to Crown Point, Indiana. There, she met new friends and began a successful career in real estate - a profession she enjoyed deeply for many years.

After retiring, Beverlee moved to Florida, where she embraced the sunshine and a slower pace of life, while remaining closely connected to her loved ones.

Beverlee was known for her sharp wit, warm heart, and boundless love for her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor, was endlessly kind, and brought joy to those lucky enough to know her.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Sherry Upton (Kent); loving granddaughters, Kelsey Clark and Katy Kennelly (Pat); and her cherished great-grandchildren: Hallie, Colin, and Tess Clark, and Connor, Emmy and Teddy Kennelly.

Beverlee was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John, and her brothers William, Robert and Donald.

Her legacy of love, laughter, and strength lives on in her family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the Mass of Christine Burial Service at 11:00 am on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 2224 Sacramento Ave, West Lafayette, IN 47906. Fr. Daniel Shine will be officiating. Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette.
