Diana Ewashko Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Coastal Cremation and Funeral Care - New Port Richey Chapel on Oct. 1, 2025.
Diana Ewashko, 64, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. A woman of unparalleled strength, courage, and selflessness, she leaves behind a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Born on July 23, 1961, in Trenton, New Jersey, Diana lived a life defined by her boundless love for her family and her unwavering resilience. She faced life's challenges with courage that inspired those around her, notably surviving over half a decade in home hospice with grace and determination. Her strength was a beacon, shaping her children into the people they are today. Her selflessness knew no bounds, and her love touched everyone she met. A dedicated veterinary technician for many years, Diana loved her job because of her deep passion for animals, pouring her heart into caring for them as she did for her family. She was a devoted grandmother to KarLee and Jailyn, whom she cherished deeply, and her spirit will continue to guide their growth into women Diana would be immensely proud of. To all who loved her, Diana's soul will live on, as a soul never dies as long as it is remembered. She will never be forgotten. She will remain the voice in the back of your mind, offering strength when you feel weak. Her absence leaves a void in many hearts, especially those of her children. Diana was preceded in death by her loving parents, Harry and Patricia Exner, and her adoring husband, Robert Ewashko. She is survived by her sister, Mary Jane Creely, and her brother, David Exner; her daughters, Jessica Zimmermann and her husband, David Zimmermann, and Heather Ewashko; her son, Jason Ewashko, and his husband, Adam Haney; and her cherished granddaughters, KarLee Zimmermann Hawthorne and Jailyn Skye Ewashko. Diana Ewashko will never be forgotten. Her love and legacy will endure forever. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Diana, please visit our Tree Store.
