Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Earl Roberts and Elizabeth Britton Lemmon Roberts.
Mrs. Thomas was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was a retired English teacher at Wilson Hall School for many years. She was a resident of The Blake at Woodcreek Farms.
Surviving is a sister, Kathy Roberts Keith (Lukie), nieces, Jennifer Keith English (Russell) and Heather Keith Ray (Jeremy), and nephew, Curtis Britton Keith (Crystal); great nieces, Addison English, Kinsley Ray; great nephews, Grant English and Easton Ray. Also a sister, Peggy Roberts Gerrald, niece, Mandy Kimbell, nephew, Trey Gerrald, and great nephews, Elliott, Miles, and Grant Kimbell.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Johnna Elizabeth "Babs" Thomas.
Private services will be held with Rev. Joseph James officiating.
The family will receive friends at 2:45 P.M. Sunday, March 23, 2025, in the Trinity United Methodist Church Parlor.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Memorial & Tribute Processing Center, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979.

Beverly Thomas was loved by many, and she will be missed. I trust she is with our Saviour, Jesus Christ and back in heaven, reunited with her daughter, Babs and her husband, John.
