Beverly Kay Avrett

Beverly Kay Avrett, age 67, of Locust Grove, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Piedmont Henry Hospital. She was born on January 5, 1958, in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Clifford Radford and Jane Elizabeth Blanchard Radford. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Wesley Lamar Avrett; and her beloved dog, Lucky.
Beverly was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and friend, who lived a life marked by quiet devotion and genuine care. She always put her loved ones first and offered steady support through every season. She worked for many years at Piedmont Henry Hospital as a Dietary Aide in the Food Service Department, where she was known for her hard work, kindness, and dedication to the patients and staff she served.
Beverly found joy in life's simple pleasures, feeding the squirrels and wildlife that visited her yard and enjoying a good, cold Diet Coke. These small routines brought her comfort and reflected her gentle, easygoing spirit.
She leaves behind her husband, Ricky Lamar Avrett; daughter, Rebecca Avrett (Johnathan) Austin; grandchildren, Bradley (Jennifer) Baxter and Holly Baxter; great-grandchildren, Parker, Tanner, and Shelby; as well as many extended family members and a host of friends.
A service to honor Beverly's life will take place on Sunday, December 14, 2025, beginning 3:30 PM at Fayette Bible Church, located at 355 McDonough Road, Fayetteville, GA 30214.
