Beverly Sue Bartlebaugh, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, was born on January 31, 1940, in St. Louis, Missouri. She peacefully passed away on September 16, 2025.Sue dedicated her life to nurturing those around her, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. She is survived by her cherished children: Scott Bartlebaugh (Patti), Jeff Bartlebaugh (Julie), and Jodi Dempsey and her grandchildren: Ame (Scott), Hannah, Tiffany, JD, Joseph, and her great-grandchildren Juniper, Poppy, Morgan, and Hunter. Sue was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 65 years, Carl K. Bartlebaugh; her parents, George and Gladys Watkins; her son-in-law, Thomas Dempsey; and her sister, Wanda Kay Causer. A dedicated professional, Sue worked for many years in human resources at Swagelok, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and diligent work ethic. She had a deep appreciation for nature and all living creatures, finding joy in the beauty of flowers and the simple pleasures of life. In honor of Sue's compassionate spirit, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or a local animal rescue, reflecting her love for both service and animals. Funeral services to celebrate Sue's life will be a private ceremony at a later date.
