Beverly Blaschko Obituary

Minnetonka - Beverly Ann Blaschko passed away peacefully on December 10, 2022, at Heritage of Edina.

Born on August 3, 1937, one of four daughters to Raymond and Pearl Strand. She had a love of learning, reading, and family.

She married her husband, Gerald (Jerry) Blaschko on September 27, 1958. They were married for 64 years. Together, they raised a family of six children. She was very active with the Girl Scouts of America. She was a leader of the troop and planned fascinating field trips for the Girl Scouts. As her children grew up and went to college, she decided to go to Mankato State University for her bachelor's degree and then her master's degree. She pursued a career in HR at various places including Mary T. Inc in Minneapolis and concluded her career as the HR Manager of the Federal Reserve in Minneapolis. She was certified in Hypnotherapy and was a Reiki Master. She enjoyed collecting rocks and crystals with her husband over the years. Lake Superior had a special place in her heart, and she often traveled to Duluth.

She is survived by five of her children, Cindy Hromatka (Greg), Diane Blaschko, Tamara Blaschko, Ronan Blaschko (Dana Bjorkman), and Brad Blaschko (Pauline). She has 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and her sister Arlene Peterson.

She is preceded in death, only recently, by her husband, Gerald. Also preceding her is her son Edward (Ward) Blaschko (Gail), her parents, Raymond and Pearl Strand, and her sisters Virginia Strand and Betty Von Essen.

The immediate family is having a private viewing.
