Beverly Bork Obituary
Beverly Bork of Gunderson St. Elizabeth’s Nursing Home formerly of Nelson, WI passed away October 22, 2025 at the age of 80. She was born to Jerome and Sara (Loewenhagen) Comero at home in Cream, W I (Buffalo County).
On November 25, 1961, she married Norman Bork at St. Michael’s Lutheran church in Fountain City, WI. She was married to Norman for almost 60 years. He passed away on January 5, 2020.
Beverly is a Member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Cochrane, WI. Beverly liked to play cards. She was known to host a lot of parties for her friends and family. She loved to cook and bake. She continued baking at the nursing home with her friends. She enjoyed setting up Bingo and playing with the residents. Everyone knew if you picked her up or just visited with her in the nursing home you better bring her a fish sandwich and a Pepsi.
She loved her children: Marlene (Todd) Atkinson, Ed (Nancy) Bork and Dean (Tracy) Bork; Grandchildren: Ashley (Michael) Atkinson-Leon, Bryan Atkinson, Michelle (Shay Landkammer, Brandi Bork, Emily Bork, Daniel (Hannah) Bork, and Denise (fiancé Ken Mustain) Bork and 11 Great Grandkids.
Beverly is survived by her siblings: Allen (Patsy) Comero, Donald (Cindy) Comero, John (Mary) Comero, Mary Lou Comero, Tom Comero, Betty Foster and Diane (Bob) Mettile and in-laws Rhoda Engstrand, Ruth (Ron) Hohmann and David Bork.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman, his parents, Alfred and Margaret Bork. Her parents Jerome and Sara Comero, brother Larry Comero and in-laws Alice and Lowell Stueve, Edna and Bill Meier and Duane Engstrand.
Her family would like to thank the wonderful staff at St. Elizabeth’s and a special thank you to the person that gave her a new liver 12 years ago.
Bev wanted to say, “See you in heaven someday” and to Rob Talbot, “I would like to thank you for making me look so good.”
Friends and family may call from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Christ Lutheran Church, Cochrane on Thursday, October 30, 2025. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Douglas Westenberg officiating. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
