Beverly Jo Carman Ingram, 90, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 4:20 a.m. at Court House Manor Nursing Home where she had been residing since May 26, 2023.
Beverly was born July 20, 1934, in Fayette County, Ohio to Joseph and Edna Mae Holahan Carman. She was a 1952 graduate of Washington High School and lived most of her life in this community.
She had formerly been a cashier at Craig' s Department Store.
She was a lifelong member of WCH Grace Methodist Church; was a charter member of the Fayette County Community Band and had been a member of the Washington C.H. Chapter of the Daughter's of the American Revolution and Royal Chapter #29 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
On November 17, 1956, she married Herman Howard "Hoss" Ingram. He preceded her in death on May 10, 2012.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James C. and Brenda Ingram of Washington Court House; a grandson, Dr. Samuel Ingram and his wife, Jennifer, of Alexandria, Virginia and two sisters-in-law, Ann Baird of Washington Court House and Ruby Shackelford and her husband, Ben, of Niceville, Florida.
The funeral will be Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 12 Noon at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House with John Meriweather officiating.. Burial will follow in the Bush Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette Regional Humane Society, 4 Commercial Avenue, Washington Court House, Ohio 43160 or an animal care facility of the donor's choice.
