Gregory Allen Huysman, 68, of Fayette County, Ohio died Friday, September 26, 2025, at his home.

Greg was born June 9, 1957, in Lima, Ohio to Robert Harold and Maryann Theresa Youngpeter Huysman. He was a graduate of Washington High School and received a bachelor's degree in business from Ohio University.

He was a 17-year veteran of the United States Army. He was formerly a shift manager at New Sabina Industries and had been a supervisor at Candelite in Leesburg and Kenworth in Chillicothe.

Greg was a member of St. Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church; the National Rifle Association and enjoyed trapshooting and fishing. His hobby was rocketry and he was an avid model rocket builder.

He was preceded in death by his father in 2012, and his mother in 1990, and a brother, Jeffery Scott Huysman in 2023.

Greg is survived by two children, Adam Huysman and his wife, Nina, of Hillsboro, OH, Errin Fife and her husband, Kenneth, II, of Washington Court House; eight grandchildren, Logan, Bailey, Liam and Lincoln Rhoades, Reagan and Peyton Huysman, Tucker Tilley and Hunter, Huysman; three brothers, Dr. John (Sheryl) Huysman of Daytona Beach, FL; Gary (Maureen) Huysman of Charlottesville, VA and Andy Huysman of Washington Court House and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date in the St. Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church by the Rev. Father Cyrus Haddad, pastor at the church. Burial of the cremains will follow in the St. Colman Catholic Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
