Beverly Estelle Carroll, 79, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 with her loving husband and sons by her side. She was born on December 9, 1945, a daughter of the late, William I. and Madeleine (Morey) Barnhart.

Beverly graduated from Harding Grade School and Strong Vincent High School class of 1963. She started working at Eckerds drug store as a cashier and then retired in 1977 as a pharmacy technician. For the remainder of her life she was a homemaker, spending time raising her sons and helping with the grandchildren. She was always shuttling the kids from one place to another. When her sons were younger, she was involved in the Boy Scouts. Beverly was a lifelong member of the Erie County Library, she loved to read mystery novels. Every night you would find her reading at the dining room table eating Oreo cookies. Beverly loved all animals especially cats, there was always one or more cats living in her home up until recent years. Beverly was easy going, she would do anything for anyone. She was a selfless woman, and truly enjoyed helping others.

In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by her brother, John E. Mills and her sisters-in-law, Marie Mills, Eileen Mills, and Patricia M. Scarpino.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, David J. Carroll, sons, Michael D. Carroll and Matthew J. Carroll, grandchildren, Noah Carroll, Kalem Galo-Zuniga, Hannah Thurlow (Izacc), and Ethan Carroll, and brother-in-law, Benedict J. Scarpino. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Services were private. The Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. is handling the arrangements. Send condolences to www.Kloeckerfuneralhome.com.
