Beverly Ann (Claypool) Casella, 87, of Apollo, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025 in St. Andrew's Village, Indiana, PA.
Born March 13, 1938 in Margaret, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harry E. Claypool & Jessie (Shoop) Claypool.
Beverly worked for Armstrong County for over 50 years, last employed as the register and recorder of deeds for several years, retiring in 2007. She was a member of the North Apollo Church of God, and the Armstrong County Republican Committee.
Beverly enjoyed bird watching, baking, collecting cookbooks, and enjoyed all aspects of politics.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Casella; sisters, Violet Manley, Lois Jean Zurney, Martha Luke, Delma Ollinger, Vivian Sabato, Gloria Kelly, Gladys DeChance; and her brothers, Lawrence, Elmer, Russell, Harry, and Paul.
Beverly is survived by her sister-in-law, Sara D. Claypoole of State College; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Friends will be received in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo, on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Shallenberger officiating. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo.
