Connie (Carmen) Casella, 94, of Manalapan, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 30th, 2025. Born in New York City, Connie and the family moved to Staten Island in 1959. Connie spent many years working as an office manager at a neighborhood florist, where her warmth and attention to detail brightened both the workplace and the lives of those around her. Connie moved to New Jersey over 37 years ago, where she built a life rooted in love, family, and quiet strength. She had a creative spirit and a generous heart, and she found joy in cooking, reading and playing games. Above all else, Connie loved spending time with her family, always bringing light and laughter to those in her presence.
Connie was predeceased by her cherished granddaughter Jennifer Casella. She is survived by her devoted husband, Frank Casella, with whom she shared a lifetime of love; her children, Gerard Casella, Frank Casella and his wife Ellen, Michael Casella, and Susan Daly and her husband Thomas; her adoring grandchildren, Katie Casella, Joseph Casella, Kristin Casella, Lexi Casella, Hunter Daly, and Zachary Daly; and her precious great-grandchildren, Anaya Lopez and Eva Fay Zywicki.
Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Connie's life on Saturday, July 19th, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A memorial service will be held during that celebration at 4:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that a memorial donation be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Connie's memory.
