He was the beloved son of Roberta Flagg Egerton and the late Hosea Lee Flagg, Sr. Darrick grew up in Freehold Borough. Darrick attended Asbury Park and Freehold Borough High Schools.
He was an original Ole G. known to his friends as Justice-I-Self.
