Beverly Ann Jones Clore, 80, passed away suddenly December 13, 2025 while under care at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in
Portland, Oregon. Beverly, best known as Bev, was born on January 15, 1945, the third daughter of John Paul and Edna Margaret Jones in
Portland, Oregon. The family lived in Milwaukie, Oregon where she attended grade school and High School. Bev met her future husband, Victor "Ray" Clore, at age five where they were classmates and good friends all through school and both graduating from Milwaukie High School in 1963.
Bev worked in Portland for Federal Sign and Signal Corporation until she married Ray March 18, 1967. Ray was in the Military so they moved to Fort Hood, Texas until she returned to Milwaukie in 1969 to live for one year while her husband served overseas. During their military service years Bev's best memories were the 12 years spent in Germany. While in Germany, Bev supervised the European non-profit civilian payroll office in Heidelberg, Germany.
She had the wonderful opportunity to travel throughout 29 countries and visit all 50 US States during her years as a military spouse. She stayed connected to many of the military wives after her husband's military retirement in 1984 and they moved to
Woodburn, Oregon.
After buying and establishing their new home Bev went to work at Cedo Tool Company in Woodburn managing the company payroll for 10 years. She finally decided to once again be a homemaker and gardener. She loved working in her yard's flower beds trimming Roses and the many bushes encompassing the yard.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father along with her two sisters Donna Jean Gardner and Betty Lou Bowman.
Bev is survived by her husband Victor "Ray" Clore and her sister Donna's Five children of which are best nieces and nephews. Debbie Marie Borofka, Becky Lynn Hayes, Sherrie Lynnette Fillis, Steven Ray Gardner, and Randy Scott Gardner. In addition are Betty Lou's children Rebecca (Becky) Green and Julie Campuzano.
The family would like to thank the Legacy Medical staff at the Woodburn Health Clinic for all their outstanding medical support and guidance they gave Bev during her failing health time.
