Beverly “Huffy” Coll, age 93, of Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. She was born on March 30, 1932 in the South Side section of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, one of three children of the late Raymond and Margaret Huff.
She was a member of Triumph of The Holy Cross Parish, L.A.O.H. and the Southwestern PA Registered Nurses Club. Beverly was very proud of her Irish heritage and enjoyed traveling throughout her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Edward “Wisty” Coll; a sister, Noreen “Midgie” Young; and 2 nieces, Karen and Sherry. She is survived by her 3 children, Patrick (Lori), Kathleen, and James (Kari); 6 grandchildren, Michael (Abigail), Zachary, Emily, Samuel, Sarah and Finn; 2 great grandchildren, Adalene and John; a sister, Marjorie (Will) Richards; and nieces and nephews, Michael, Matthew, Lynn and Susan.
Family and Friends will be received from 3 – 8pm on Friday, August 22nd at Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home, 1701 Route 51, Jefferson Hills, PA 15025. On Saturday, August 23rd prayers will be held in the funeral home at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 1 Grove Pl, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Hazelwood, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
