Beverly J. Connolly

Beverly (Bev) J. Connolly, age 91, passed away in Sugar Grove, Illinois on Friday, February 20, 2026. She was born September 21, 1934 in Bloomington, Illinois. Bev moved to Aurora, Illinois as a child, but had fond memories of Bloomington and enjoyed going back to visit.

Bev was preceded in death by her husband Richard Connolly and her cousin (sister) Nancy McCarren.

She is survived by Nancy's daughters: Debbie (Mark) Weber, Donna (Kevin) Tews, Denise (Don) Twaddle and their families. Also surviving are her stepdaughter Sharon (Larry) Davis and family as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins, especially Peggy (Bill) and Misty Jump.

Bev worked at Mooseheart after high school and spent most of her career at Mercy Center. After retirement she worked at Fox Valley Animal Welfare. She loved dogs and was also passionate about horses and enjoyed off track betting.

Bev spent her last 3 years at Prairie Pointe Assisted Living and Memory Care in Sugar Grove and was a staff favorite. Her family appreciates the excellent care she received from Prairie Pointe as well as Three Oaks Hospice.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 10 a.m. until a service of remembrance at 12 p.m. at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Drive, Sugar Grove, IL 60554. Interment will be private at River Hills Memorial Park.
