Beverly Copas, 79, of Dayton, formerly of Hermitage, TN, passed at 6:00 a.m. Sunday, July 13, 2025 at the Springfield Masonic Community following an extended illness.

She was born February 18, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Fred and Helen Hollandsworth. On January 17, 1974, she married Eugene R. "Gene" Copas who survives.

Also surviving are sons Doug (Karen) Buchanan and Scott (Katrina) Buchanan, both of Dayton; grandchildren, Greg, Grace, Dillon and Connor; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Weinert; a niece, Michelle (Mike) O'Neal; and a nephew, Michael Weinert. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant son, Greg Buchanan and a sister, Shirley Weinert.

Beverly was an aviation enthusiast, loved music, and was an avid NASCAR Fan. She loved animals, especially her many dogs and cats.

A private graveside service will be held in Greenlawn with her brother-in-law, Junior Woodbridge officiating. A private visitation will be held for family. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ohio Masonic Communities Foundation Memory Care Fund 2655 W. National Road Springfield, Ohio 45504.
