Beverly Decker Obituary
Beverly Layne Decker was born October 9, 1951, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Budd and Ruth Spackman Layne. Bev passed away February 2, 2026, in Farmington, Utah.
She married Bruce Clift and together they had a son, Matthew Alan Clift. They later divorced. In July 1991 she married Norman Dell Decker.
Bev worked in the insurance business for many years. She was a loving mother, she and Dell raised a granddaughter, Gabi.
Bev was a dedicated primary teacher for many years. She also served in the nursery at the Bountiful Temple, which she enjoyed very much.
Bev is survived by her son Matt, granddaughter Gabi (Aaron) Quick, two great grandchildren and stepson Josh.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dell and stepdaughter Brooke.
The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the staff at Country Care Assisted Living in Farmington.
A Celebration of Life for Bev will be held at a later date.
