Sandra Blakley Obituary

Sandra Lee Felce Blakley

1952 ~ 2026

Kaysville, Utah-Born on May 30, 1952, in Covina, California, to Marjorie and Arthur Raymond Felce, Sandra Lee Felce Blakley lived a life rooted in faith, devotion, and an abiding love for family. She was born into a family shaped by service and perseverance. In her early years, the family lived in Southern California and later moved throughout California seeking opportunity, stability, and closeness to extended family. These experiences quietly shaped the values Sandra carried with her throughout her life.

The heart of Sandra's life was centered on faith, genealogy, and family. She devoted countless hours to temple service and to preserving family history, carefully weaving together stories, records, and relationships across generations. Her love of family fueled her to travel across the country countless times on her own "Relative Race," visiting distant relatives and researching historical family records. She and her husband, Daniel Robert Blakley, became avid and accomplished family historians, gathering stories, photographs, and records, and building connections with family across the nation and around the world. Her knowledge was vast and deep, and her organization impeccable. Sandra's life's work, her family, family history, and genealogy, was marked by miracles and innumerable treasures that continue to be cherished.

She and Daniel were civilly married on July 15, 1973, and on November 14, 1980, she was sealed to her husband and children, in life and through all eternity, through her faith in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Oakland Temple in California. This sacred covenant anchored her hope and guided her path. She also cherished time spent gathering with loved ones, often sharing meals at some of her favorite places, including The Little Taste of Britain and Cracker Barrel.

Sandra's home was filled with stories and learning. She lovingly read aloud to her children treasured books from authors like C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Jane Austen, and Laura Ingalls Wilder. She also read the scriptures with them, gently teaching through word and example a life centered on love, faith, and purpose.

We love and dearly miss her sweet, happy, nurturing spirit, full of cheer and charity for all. Her loving, sunny, charitable, and welcoming nature connected her to countless others who considered her family and a dear friend. She was known to put others first, turn the other cheek, lift the discouraged, and bless anyone she met. She scattered sunshine everywhere she went, leaving people better than she found them.

In the early morning hours of February 2, 2026, at 12:14 a.m., at Ogden's McKay-Dee Hospital, Sandra peacefully passed from this life into the next, surrounded by her children. She now reunites with her parents, Marjorie and Arthur Raymond Felce, and with her beloved son, Enoch Felce Blakley, who would have turned 40 this week, a tender reunion that brings comfort amid deep sorrow.

Sandra faced stage four cancer with quiet strength, humility, and grace. She was granted the blessing of a peaceful passing, encircled by the love of her family, a fitting reflection of the life she lived.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Daniel Robert Blakley; her children, Kendra Dara Tucker and her husband, Robert Tucker, Megan Hannah Smith, Aaron Nathanial Blakley, and Seth Hamilton Blakley and his wife, Delsi Blakley; her brothers, Bradley Felce and Douglas Felce; and her 13 cherished grandchildren. Her absence is deeply felt by all who loved her.

Funeral services were on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1449 S. Thoroughbred Dr., Kaysville, Utah 84037. A viewing was held prior to the services from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at the church.
