Beverly Ann DeMonte, 79, of Lynchburg, Virginia, left this earth to be with our Lord and Savior on May 30th, 2025. She was the daughter of Carl and Beulah Bowen and was the loving and devoted wife of Vito DeMonte for 61 years.
Beverly was born on February 26th, 1946, in Rochester, NY. She graduated high school at Madison High School in Rochester, NY. She married her husband, Vito, in 1964. Together, they built and established a successful auto body shop in Lynchburg, VA. Additionally, she was a dedicated and passionate sales associate for Belk for many years.
Beverly was a dedicated member of Thomas Road Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, hand-crocheting, shopping, going to church, baking, and cooking as well as decorating. Most of all, she loved the Lord and absolutely loved spending time with ALL her family.
In addition to her parents, Beverly is survived by her children: JoAnne Coco, Michele DeMonte & Toni Rivera; her grandchildren: Sara Doyle, Keith Tyree, Beverly Marie DeMonte, Alex DeMonte, Marco Coco, Maria Stephens, and Aron Rivera; her great-grandchildren: Devin and Schuyler Hamlett, Kaleb Mann, Bentley and Carter Tyree, and Ryan Donald; her nieces: Lisa Garofolo and Karen Thomas, and many additional family members and loving friends in the community.
Beverly is predeceased by her parents and her brother, Frederick Bowen.
The Memorial Service will be held in the Pate Chapel at Thomas Road Baptist Church, located at 1 Mountain View Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502, on Friday, June 6, 2025; Visitation will be at 5pm, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 6pm.
