Beverly J. Dickinson

Beverly Jean Dickinson,79, of Westville, passed away Friday, May 2, 2025 in LaPorte. She was born May 18, 1945 in Elkhart, Indiana to Edmon S. and Mildred (Scheetz) Bushee. On June 24, 1971, she married Harold W. "Butch" Dickinson, who passed away December 23, 2015. Beverly is survived by her children David (Tina) Dickinson of Walkerton, Donna Ping of Westville, and Dennis (Candice) Dickinson of LaPorte; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren, her brother Edmon S. (Tyra) Bushee, Jr. of Terre Haute and her sisters Nancy Basham of Louisiana, Sally Brantley of Goshen, Indiana, and Darlene Miller of Virginia. In addition to her husband, Beverly is preceded in death by her sons Daniel and Donald Dickinson, and her parents. She was a member of the Westville United Methodist Church, the Westville Lions Club and the American Legion Post #21 Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 7th at Newhard Funeral Home in Westville. Pastor Toby Guill will officiate the funeral service. Burial will be in Westville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3-7 PM and Wednesday 10:00 AM until the time of services.
