Beverly A. (Luckanish) Dissinger, 76, of Fleetwood, died peacefully after a ten year battle with Parkinson's Disease, Monday, July 7, 2025, in her home, surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Anthony D. "Tony" Dissinger. They were married September 6, 1969. Born in Reading, Beverly was a daughter of the late John Luckanish and Edith (Jensen) Kosmerl.
Beverly was a graduate of Reading High School, Class of 1966, where she was a member of the yearbook committee. Following high school, Beverly attended Bryland School of Beauty, Reading.
Beverly first worked as a beautician, then began a career as a secretary in the office of Pomeroy's, Reading. Then, after raising her children she returned to work at Kemp's Catering, Bowers, for over 15 years.
Bev enjoyed the beach, traveling to Florida, spending time with her family and cooking.
In addition to her husband of 55 years, Tony, Beverly is survived by her children: Athena A. Dissinger, Fleetwood; Clint A., husband of Jessica L. (Trumbauer) Dissinger, Fleetwood. There are three grandchildren: Skylar L. Huff; Julianna M. Dissinger; and Dominic A. Dissinger. In addition to her parents, Beverly was predeceased by a sister, Sandra (Liggett) Pletz.
A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate Beverly's life will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with The Reverend, Bruce W. Potteiger, officiating. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Dryville (Rockland Township). Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., both times in the funeral home.
