Beverly J. Ermold
Age 80 of Elmira Heights, NY. She was born May 3, 1941 in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late Edward and Vera (Jordan) Updike and passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 at Corning Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughter Emily Ermold. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert; children and their spouses Susan & Dennis Edwards of Horseheads, Robert & Christine Ermold, Jr. of Sterling, AK; grandchildren Renée & Drake Leichtfuss of Las Vegas, NV, Dennis Edwards of Syracuse, NY, Mary Edwards of Columbus, OH, Marcus & Viviana Vigil of Cuba, NM and Lucas Ermold of Sterling, AK; great granddaughter Camilla Vigil of Cuba, NM; brother and sister-in-law Edward & Karen Updike of Church Hill, TN along with several nieces and nephews. Bev was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. She retired as Office Manager for Twin Tiers Women's Health Team and was an Adorer at the Adoration Chapel for over 25 years. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Sunday, January 9th from 2 to 4 pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 10th at 10 am in St. Patrick's Church, 604 Park Pl., Elmira. Rev. Scott Kubinski, Celebrant. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Woodlawn National Cemetery. Masks are required at the funeral home and church.
