Beverly Elaine Foray

Beverly Elaine Foray, 76, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away on Tuesday October 1, 2024 from Alzheimer's disease. She was born on August 16, 1948 in Ft. Worth Texas to the late Jimmy G. Sanders and Mary E. Sanders, (nee White).
Beverly graduated from Rose State College, Midwest City, Oklahoma in 1982 with a degree in Radiological Technology, and worked over 30 years as a certified X-Ray Technician. She was employed at Oklahoma City Clinic, Holmes Regional Hospital, and Sebastian River Medical Center. At work she was known as "BJ", and always put patient care as her top priority. As a supervisor, she always ensured the needs of her co-workers, the other X-ray techs, radiologists, nurses, and other staff, were met with accuracy, efficiency and speed. She loved her job and was well respected by all.
Beverly loved gardening, traveling, music of all types, singing and dancing to all of them. She loved crocheting afghans, which she gave away to family, but especially to anyone expecting a newborn. She also enjoyed collecting rabbits, butterflies, David Winter Cottages, cooking Southern meals, especially biscuits and gravy, and decorating the home for all seasons, but her most favorite was Christmas. She would transform the entire home into Santa's Lodgings. The most important thing to Beverly was her family, who she loved and cherished.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 39 years, Andrew; their five children, Christine Diehl (William), Andrew V. (Beth), Scott (Danielle), Kerry Walker (Bradley), and Teri Ross. She is the proud and loving grandmother (Meemaw) to 13 grand-children and 6 great grand-children. She is the oldest of four sisters, Caroline Gruslin, Belinda Rogers (Wayne – deceased), Shirley Hyink (Douglas), and numerous nieces and nephews on both sides of her extended family.
