George Ely Obituary
"Al" was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He was a jack of all trades and a master of so many! He was an extraordinary neighbor, helper, mentor and friend.
He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Kinser Ely, parents James Oscar and Rosie Ellen Montgomery Ely, brothers Billy E. Ely, James D. Ely and Terry A. Ely, sister Kyla Mae Ely Robertson, and grandson Timothy Clouser.
He is survived by daughters Tracy E. Fontecchio (Cliff), Shelley D. Skinner (Daniel), grandsons Preston Skinner (Brittany) and Caleb Skinner, granddaughter Jade Birchfield (Joseph), great-granddaughters Casey Skinner, Chloe Skinner, and Skye Birchfield, sister Betty J. Swanson (Buck) and many treasured nieces and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of life at 1pm on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 at River Run Christian Church, 1660 Croton Road, Melbourne, FL 32935.
To honor Al, the family suggests contributions to River Run's roofing fund instead of flowers.
