Beverly Jean Hoff

Beverly Jean Trude Hoff was born October 20, 1941, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Patrick A. Trude and Luella A. Leigh Trude Hoover.
She passed away peacefully in her home in Bellville on February 13, 2025.
Beverly is survived by her daughter Sara and son-in-law Mark A. Sowa, sister Patricia Brost and husband Dale Brost, and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, husband Weldon C. Hoff, brother Robert A. Trude, sister-in-law Judy Cordova Trude, and nephew Robert L. Trude.
She attended North High School in Denver, Colorado, and Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado.
She met her husband Weldon in Denver, Colorado at an amusement park where they both worked at. They became engaged when Weldon's enlistment was complete. The couple married on November 27, 1965, in St. John Lutheran Church, Bellville, Texas.
She enjoyed making beautiful cross stitching, square dancing, making crafts for the fair, baking, traveling with the RV across the country, collecting Hallmark ornaments, watching the hummingbirds, collecting Teddy Bears, reading, and playing handbells.
She loved to go to Bellville football and Astros baseball games.
Interment will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Bellville, Texas.
She will be truly missed by many family and friends.
