Beverly Howell

Beverly Ann Howell, age 78, of Elizabeth City, NC, died at home on Friday, January 2, 2026. She was born in Tulsa, OK on June 24, 1947, to the late Mary Edith Williams Vernon and Louie Vernon, she was the widow of Vernon Howell.
Beverly is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Scialabba (Johnny) of Elizabeth City, NC, and Jeanette McFarland of Stilwell, OK; one sister, Charlotte Clarke; four grandchildren; Frank Jones of VA, Christopher Jones of OK, Miranda Rankin of OK, Alyssa Brooks of OK, Lisa Scialabba, and Johnny Scialabba; great-grandchildren, Frankie Jones, Nicholes Jones, Nathania Puryear, Wyatt Hawkins, Cloie Jones, Zachary Jones, Jason Jones, and Bodhi Rankin; two great great-grandchildren, River Smiley and Mary Puryear. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her sister, Deloris Logan; and brothers, James Vernon, and Ronnie Vernon.
A service will be held at a later date in Oklahoma.
Though her time with us has come to an end, Beverly's spirit remains alive in the countless lives she touched. Her memory will forever be cherished.
