Beverly Jacklitch, age 68, passed away on February 14th, 2023. She was born to the late Jim and Azeal Blankenship, on August 30th, 1954, in Grundy, Virginia. She was later adopted by the late Charles and Ella Mae (West) Dartey after moving to Cleveland, Ohio.
Beverly always loved playing games, whether it be card games, dice or even horseshoes. She also loved the outdoors and fishing. She loved watching wildlife and was often fond of spending time with her cats and dogs.
Beverly was the loving mother of Carl J. (Jenny) Jacklitch and Susan (Manny) Grande; grandmother to Isabel and James; caring sister and aunt of many.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of many years, Carl Jacklitch and sister Sandra.
Calling hours will take place on Monday, February 20th from 12-2pm at Busch Funeral Homes in Cleveland, 4334 Pearl Road Cleveland, Ohio 44109 with a funeral service taking place following the calling hours at 2 pm at Busch Funeral Homes in Cleveland. We will then meet at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, 4700 Broadview Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109, at 3pm for a graveside service. We will be using the State Road Entrance.
In lieu of flowers or memorial contributions, the family has asked for donations to help defray the funeral costs.
