Beverly Jarrett Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home on Mar. 31, 2026.
Beverly (Chisholm) Jarrett, age 75, of Hideaway, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026, at her home in Hideaway. She was born on February 28, 1951, in Amherst, Texas, and grew up with the values of family, faith, and perseverance that would shape her entire life. Beverly had made her home in Hideaway for the past 15 years, embracing the community with the same warmth and generosity she brought everywhere she lived. Before settling there, she spent many years in Arlington, Texas; Peoria, Illinois; and Littlefield, Texas, forming lasting friendships and touching countless lives along the way.

A devoted Christian, Beverly was a member of First Baptist Church in Lindale, Texas, and previously a longtime member of Lake Arlington Baptist Church. Her faith was a steady anchor throughout her life, guiding her in her work, her relationships, and her service to others.

Beverly retired after many years of teaching in public schools, where she poured her heart into her students. In her spare time, she enjoyed both planned and spontaneous traveling, playing pickleball with friends, reading, and, above all, spending cherished time with her beloved family and grandchildren. Those who knew her will remember her sense of adventure, loving heart, her quick smile, and the joy she found from life.

She was preceded in death by her father, Derwood Chisholm; her stepfather, Coy Piercey; and her husband, Louis Jarrett, with whom she shared many years of love and partnership.

Beverly is survived by her mother, Wannell Piercey of Hideaway; her children, Bradley Jarrett and wife, Stephanie, of Arlington, and Whitney Beseda and husband, Mark, also of Arlington; her sisters, Carol Davis and husband, Don, of Hideaway, and Patti Turner and husband, Bill, of Taylors, South Carolina; her grandchildren, Adelynn, Brynna, and Corinne Jarrett, and Skye and Kodi Beseda. She is also survived by numerous other loving family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close.
