Beverly Ann Jennings, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in
Roswell, New Mexico, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. She was 91 years old. In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held. Biography Beverly was born on June 19, 1934, in Wentworth Location, New Hampshire, to Odian James and Alice Linnell Turner. She grew up in New England and graduated from Berlin High School in Berlin, New Hampshire. In 1974, Beverly moved with her children to
Roswell, New Mexico, to be closer to her brother, Arlen. Roswell remained her home for the past 51 years. She worked faithfully as a CNA at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center for 20 years before retiring. Following retirement, Beverly dedicated her time to family, friends, and her faith. She was a member of both First Baptist Church and Grace Community Church. She loved traveling across the country, cheering on her favorite sports teams-especially the New York Yankees and Golden State Warriors-and never missed the chance to watch Tom Brady play. Above all, Beverly's greatest joy was spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors Beverly is survived by her children: • Natalie Theodore of Reno, Nevada • Gary Minard and his wife, Kelly, of Lubbock, Texas • Wendy Lem and her husband, Shawn, of
Roswell, New Mexico Her five grandchildren: • Melanie Taylor and husband, Brian • Matthew Theodore • Adam Lem • Katrina Martinez and husband, Saul • Teryn Lem and fiancé, Layne Newlin Her six great-grandchildren (soon to be seven): • Theodore and Ava Taylor • Miley and Braysen Lem • Thomas Griffin and Rylee Newlin • Baby Martinez, on the way Beverly is also survived by her siblings: • Muriel "Midget" Romano of Edgewater, Florida • Faye Prichard and husband, Larry, of Auburn, New York • Ronald Turner of Winthrop, Massachusetts She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Odian and Alice Turner; her daughter, Wanda Powell; and her brothers, Richard, Wendell, and Arlen Turner. Gratitude The family extends their heartfelt thanks to PA Sarah East-Brumana, Dr. Feroze, and the Roswell Joy Center staff-especially Luz White and Carla. Special appreciation goes to Gentiva Hospice, as well as to her dear friends: Rachel Cillis, for her comfort and spiritual encouragement; Sara VanDenBout, for her friendship and support; and Sue Gallagher, for being her closest companion.
