Beverly Keesecker Obituary
KEESECKER, Beverly Ann, 68, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in Lexington, KY. She was born April 15, 1955 to the late Franklin Bates and Anita Miller. She is survived by her children, Kimberly Bates, Loretta (Ramia) Gilmore, Danny (Samantha Bishop) Riley and Josh (Savannah Harrington) Riley; grandchildren, Victoria (Matthew)Sunley-Jones, Madison (Logan Harp) Sunley, Joseph Davis, Matthew Walker, Kaylie Gilmore, Mya Gilmore, Warren Riley, Kendra Reynolds, Carter Riley, Brookelynn Riley, Joshua Riley Jr. and Abigayle Riley; siblings, Donna, Ronald, and Sammy; and many nieces and nephews. Other than her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by her grandmother, Lucille Miller, and her son, Joseph, who she now gets to dance with in Heaven. A 10am service will take place Friday, July 21, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Main St. Burial will follow at the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7pm Thursday, at the funeral home.

I am so shocked and saddened by her untimely passing. I had just had a wonderful conversation with her the day before she passed at a Lextran bus stop. My heart is broken. Ray Preston, Lexington

Beverly was a wonderful person. She was always kind to everyone in the neighborhood and enjoyed visiting with people every time she was out and about. I will always remember how she loved animals and how much she enjoyed gardening. She had a clear and vibrant faith and I have no doubt that she walked straight into the arms of Jesus! I will certainly miss seeing her and our conversations at the bus stop.
