Ogden – Beverly Jean Scott Koger, 94 passed away April 24, 2025. She was born September 10, 1930, to Delbert and Hannah Scott, in Ogden, Utah. Beverly had five sisters, Mildred Howey, Alice Holbrook, Betty Payne, Mary Lu Stack, and Carolyn Smith; and four brothers, Carl, Ray, Gary, and Ricky.
She married Robert E. Koger on October 12, 1948, in Las Vegas, Nevada and later sealed in the Ogden LDS Temple on October 10, 1998. They owned Bob Koger Draperies.
Beverly was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served as Den Mother and Librarian.
Bob and Bev were charter members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2472 and served as Aerie and State Officers.
Surviving are her one daughter, Christy Thackeray (Gregg); four sons, Robert Jr (Sheryl), Perry (Becky), Randy (Ann), and Kelly (Ronda); 18 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Bob and son, Rob.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
