Beverly Ann Lambden

Beverly Ann Lambden, age 83, of Seaford, Delaware, passed away on January 1, 2025. Born on March 31, 1941, she was the beloved wife of James Lambden for over 60 years, and a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Beverly's family was the center of her world, and she is survived by her husband, James Lambden, and their three children: Bonnie Baxter, Granville Lambden, and Mark Lambden. Her grandchildren, Heather Lambden, Shelley Lambden, and Jacob Baxter, along with her great-grandchildren, Bristol Lambden and Colin Munoz, brought her immense joy and pride.
Beverly was also a loving sister to her brother, David Waller, who resides in Laurel, Delaware.
For 59 years, Beverly and Jim operated Lambden Bus Service, building a legacy of service to the community. Together, they also created Middleford Speedway, a testament to their love for motorsports and their entrepreneurial spirit. Beverly was deeply involved in her church, finding great fulfillment in helping others. She spent many years teaching Sunday school, and her faith was the guiding force in her life.
In her earlier years, Beverly was active with the Blades Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, further demonstrating her dedication to her community. She had a deep love for nature, spending countless hours tending to her flowers and watching the birds in her yard. Beverly also loved hosting cookouts, where she gathered her family and friends for laughter and memories.
Beverly's passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of all who knew her. She has gained her wings and is now with her parents, Mabel and Sirman Waller, in heaven, where she will forever be at peace.
A celebration of Beverly's life will be held on January 10th at Cranston's Funeral Home in Seaford at 2 pm. The visitation will be held prior to the celebration from
1-2 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to further extend her forever helping hand.
Beverly will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her love, kindness, and spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her and calling her "Mom Bev."
