Beverly Lou Wendt Lossing

4/17/1935-3/8/2026

Beverly was born to the late Sherman and Amber Wendt in Laredo, MO April 17, 1935, and passed away March 8, 2026, in Strongsville, OH. She was a month short of 91 years old. Beverly grew up on a farm in Osgood, MO and attended Hannibal LaGrange College, obtaining a master's degree in psychology. She used her degree as a grade school counselor for 30 years. She enjoyed sewing, taking photographs and being with her grandchildren. After retiring as a school counselor, she worked at the Owasso, OK McDonald's in her later years, as a hostess and scheduling PR events for McDonald's. She is predeceased by, brother Gayle Wendt of Osgood, MO, her husband Harry Lossing of Strongsville, OH and her grandson, Hans Turner of Strongsville, OH.

Beverly was cared for by her daughter Rachel Turner and son-in-law Wayne in her later years and was always thankful. She not only expressed gratitude but commented often that she was praying for her family. She found joy in her role as a grandmother to Tyson Turner and his wife Jennifer of Crestview, Florida; Adam Turner and his wife Tiffany of Louisville, Kentucky; Hunter Turner and his wife XinXin of Toledo, Ohio; and Heidi Cole and her husband Nick of Parma Heights, Ohio. She was also proud of her great grandchildren, Holly, Caleb, Elijah, Enoch, Reuben, Hosea, Jenny, Cara, Adalyn, Titus, Ezekiel, Noelle, Olivia, Abigail, Lucy, Tabitha, Havalah, Ayla, Wayne, Leah, John, Judah, Jenny, and Magdalene. She was predeceased by her grandson Hans Turner of Strongsville, Ohio, who cared for his grandparents very much. Beverly's grandchildren and great grandchildren will miss her and the snacks they always found in her room.

Beverly was a believer in Jesus Christ and played the piano for revivals when she was a younger. She was always by her husband, Harry's side, and faithfully cared for and him for over 69 years.
