Beverly was born on August 13, 1939 in Swampers, Louisiana to Frank and Elois Priest Jones. She was a lifelong Baptist beginning with Magnolia Baptist in Winnsboro, Louisiana. She retired from Glenwood Medical Center as a registered nurse after many years of loyal and compassionate service, touching countless lives through her commitment to healing and care. Beverly will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and the love she shared with her family and community throughout her long and meaningful life. She was preceded in death by her son, Robbie Earl; parents, Frank and Elois Jones; late husbands, Tommy Earl, Samuel Slaton, Billy May and Jimmy Brown; and siblings, Kenneth, Shirley and Glen.
Beverly leaves behind her daughter, Pamela Barton and husband, Michael Walter; grandchildren, Dylan Barton and wife Angela, Dustin Barton, Drew Barton, Derek Barton; 3 great-grandchildren, Jace, Nora and Lyla Barton; family, Jeff and Kenda Barton; and best friend, Wanda Chapman.
There will be a memorial gathering for family and friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the home of her daughter located at 113 Comanche Trail, West Monroe, Louisiana 71291.
