Beverly Mering Obituary
Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey to the late Sam and Lillian (nee Mathis) Hortz, Beverly was a resident of Mount Laurel since 2009 and prior to that lived in Cherry Hill and Marlton. Beverly spent most of her career in retail stores such as Strawbridge and Clothier and more recently Home Goods and Carter's.
A compassionate and caring woman, Beverly found immense joy in doting on her beloved granddaughters. She was a loyal and reliable friend who loved shopping, attending craft shows, and dining out with those closest to her. Some of greatest pasttimes were spent with her mother in Atlantic City and watching her favorite show as her cat laid in her lap.
Beloved mother of Renee and her husband Joseph Cucinotti; devoted grandmother of Gianna and Giulianna; dear sister of Joyce (Dwight) Roche and loving aunt of Shannon, Shawn and Brandon. Beverly is predeceased by her parents, Sam and Lillian Hortz and survived by many dear friends and her furry feline, Ivory.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Beverly's visitation on Thursday, March 6, 2025, 9:00 - 10:00 AM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054, where the Funeral Ceremony will follow at 10:00 AM. Entombment will take place at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.
