It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Beverly Minzel, who left this world on January 29, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on November 28, 1933, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Charles and Beatrice Baker. Beverly was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. In 1959, she married Francis Buddy Minzel.
Beverly dedicated over 15 years of her life as a housekeeper at the Fountain Inn, where she cultivated friendships and shared laughter with both colleagues and guests alike. A proud member of the Lutheran Church, she found joy in her faith, her loving family, and her cherished pastimes. Beverly had a passion for sewing, often creating beautiful pieces for loved ones, and she enjoyed the simple pleasure of socializing with her friends.
Beverly is survived by her beloved children, Roxie Dickson, Eileen Miller, Brian Minzel, and David Minzel, along with her eight adoring grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her cherished sisters, Caroline Walsh and Coleen Bellford. She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband Francis Minzel.
The family will honor Beverly's memory with a service dedicated to her life, love, and legacy, details of which will be communicated in due course.
In this time of mourning, we celebrate Beverly's compassionate spirit and the lasting impact she had on those around her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who were fortunate to have known her.
