Beverly Nix Obituary
Beverly was a fantastic wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She dedicated her life to her family. She wore many hats during her life. Homemaker, business owner, waitress and housecleaner. In spite of her busy work life she did find time to enjoy her passions. She was the ultimate soccer mom to her boys and grandkids. She enjoyed fishing, puzzles, movies and her favorite... casinos. Most of all she enjoyed her family: husband, children, grandchildren and her sisters.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Shirley Keck; sister, Barbara Ridgway.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ken Nix of Wichita; sons, Jeff Nix (Rachel) of Wichita; Jeremy Nix (Bianca) of Derby; grandsons Jordon, Kaden and Braden; granddaughter, Kyia.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, July 24, 2023, with Services on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 11:00 am, both at Downing and Lahey Mortuary West, 10515 W. Maple, Wichita, KS. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the American Heart Association, 8918 West 21st Street, #248, Wichita, KS 67205, in Beverly's name would be appreciated.

We are very saddened to hear that Beverly has passed away. We have many fond memories of the times we shared together with her and Ken and The Wichita Warriors soccer club. Her sweet gentle spirit will be greatly missed. May God comfort her family.

Pam and I are so saddened by the loss of a very close friend and a wonderful lady. We will miss her very much and we know that God will wrap his arms of calm and peace around her family and fill them with his blessed assurance. Beverly was so friendly and we enjoyed her company. She was amazing in that all she was involved in, she just kept going regardless of the circumstances. Her short little legs just kept running as she tried her very best to take care of all her customers. It was very evident, she loved them all and wanted the best for them. That is a rare trait these days. She cared more for her family and customers than she did for herself. She was so thoughtful and always sent a note every birthday, fathers and mothers day, anniversary and holiday. We are sure she did that for everyone. WHO DOES THAT? We miss her so much and we pray for her family that she loved more than life itself. We love you Beverly!!!
