Beverly Ann Opalka

Beverly Ann Opalka, age 77, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on October 27, 2025, at Magnolia Square Nursing Home. Beverly was born to Thomas & Amelia (Gillman) Dillon on July 27, 1948 in Hawthorne, NJ. She was raised in Hawthorne, NJ and graduated from Hawthorne Highschool. She attended Raritan Valley Community College where she earned an Associates degree in healthcare. Beverly was a long time resident of NJ before moving to Jefferson City, MO and then Springfield, MO. She was the loving mother to John Opalka, Jason Opalka & wife Kelly Opalka and grandmother to Christian Opalka.
Beverly had many interests such as taking care of plants, baking, word puzzles and connecting with the other residents of where she lived. This brought encouragement and friendship to everyone she met. She loved to visit with people and everyone would comment that they would enjoy seeing Beverly walking around.
Beverly was preceded in death by her mother and father Amelia and Thomas Dillon and brother Robert Dillon. She is survived by her brother Thomas (Ted) Dillon of Aurora, MO., son John Opalka of Springfield, MO, Jason Opalka and wife Kelly Opalka of Blackwood, NJ and grandson Christian Opalka.
