Beverly Ozinga Obituary
Loving mother of Julia Proz-Ozinga & Amy Proz-Ozinga. Cherished grandmother of John, Lily, Wesson & Zoe. Dear sister-in-law of Judy Ozinga. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Martin, III (the late Ruth) & Ken Ozinga and her parents.
Bev loved God deeply and spent her life serving others. She was a dedicated member of the Evangelical Child & Family Agency (ECFA) team for many decades and compassionately helped numerous children and families in need with support.
She was a member of Wheaton Bible Church and served on the boards of numerous faith-based organizations.
A visitation will be held at Wheaton Bible Church, 27W500 North Ave, West Chicago, IL 60185, on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. (Please use entrance N8 on the North side of the church.) Memorial gifts may be directed to ECFA: Evangelical Child & Family Agency, 1530 N Main St, Wheaton, IL 60187.

Bev was a coworker and family friend! I recall enjoying walks around Herrick Lake, a sleigh ride at Danada and even sledding down a hill with Bev and my young girls! Eventually our girls got older and had fun with Julia, Amy and Bev! Our condolences,

My sweet Bev! Although I just met you when I began serving on the Unity Christian Academy Board, we spent many days talking, laughing, sharing social work and child welfare studies. I am shocked and saddened. I will miss our conversations. You were a faithful servant of God to ECFA, UCA, Wheaten Bible church but most of all your family! I love you and will miss you tremendously.
