Bernard Ozinga Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Lynda; his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren: John Ozinga (Sam [Asher, Jonas, Henry]), William Ozinga, Tom Elmore (Julie), Matt and Suzanne Dubois (Katerina), Tim and Deborah Dubois (Jalyn, Megan), Shawn and Miranda Dubois (Alexia, Eryka, Zach, Rayanna); and his brother Morris Ozinga.
Doc was preceded in death by his first wife Carol Middel Ozinga, his daughter Connie Ozinga, an infant grandson George Elmore, his sister and her husband Hermoine and Gordon Zylman, and his sister-in-law Sharon Ozinga.
Doc graduated with honors from Zeeland High School in 1949, he then went on to Hope College, and the University of Michigan Dental School and graduated in 1956. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1956-1959. He had his dental practice in Zeeland from 1959-1994.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Friday, May 2, 2025, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. His funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Community Reformed Church 10376 Felch Street, Zeeland. Interment will be in Zeeland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Community Reformed Church. www.yntemafh.com

So very sorry for your loss. My mother worked as his dental assistant for 9 years. He was always ready with a tease or a nickname for me. Loved the little box of toys he kept to let kids pick from after appointments. I actually still have some of them. Loved him and was always happy to run into him while I was out and about.
