Dion Corey Williams

Dion Williams, 30, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026.

Dion was born on August 18, 1995, in Harvey, Illinois. He was raised in the South suburbs and graduated from Thornton Township High School. From a young age, he developed a passion for cooking and a strong desire to sharpen his culinary skills. He continued to grow and perfect this talent throughout his life. He began his culinary journey at Golden Corral, where his love for the kitchen truly flourished. Later, he relocated to Holland, Michigan, where he planted his roots, built his life, and proudly called it home until his passing.

Dion was a talented chef who found joy in cooking and bringing people together through food. The kitchen was more than a workplace to him. It was where he expressed love and creativity. He had a generous heart and a gentle spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved deeply and cared sincerely for those around him. Above all, he treasured his children and took immense pride in being their father, a role he cherished most.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa.

Dion leaves to cherish his precious memory his father, Corey Williams; his beloved children, Alyssa, Kyrie, Amari, Ava, Elijah, and Ella Williams; his grandmother, Bertha Evans; grandmother, Angela Buckley; his grandfather, Benjamin Evans (Johnnie); his sister, Tamesha Curtis-Evans (Parker); his brothers, Jerrold Rose and Deandre Williams; along with a host of aunts, uncles, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever carry his love in their hearts.
