Beverly Ann (Phipps) Patterson was born on September 1, 1941, in Mountain View, Missouri, to Henry and Nora (Harvill) Phipps. She went home to the Lord on August 11, 2025, at the age of 83. Beverly was united in marriage to James William "Bill" Patterson on May 11, 1963. To this union, three sons were born, Keith, Kelly, and Kevin. She is survived by her sons, Keith and wife, Tammie Patterson, and Kevin Patterson; grandson, James and wife, Quin Patterson; granddaughter, Amellia Patterson; great-grandsons, Hunter and Brett Patterson all of Mountain View, MO; sisters, Venice Atchley, Ernestine Chowning, and Barbara (Don) Marques; sister-in-law, Jeannie Phipps; brother-in-law, Leland Sullivan; special friend, Linda Kaut; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill; son, Kelly; sister, Bernita; brother, Wayne; 7 brothers-in-law; and 5 sisters-in-law. Beverly was a hair stylist for a short time before becoming a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She took great care of her home and family, and enjoyed the simple life, gardening, traveling, and one of her greatest hobbies, quilting. Her greatest accomplishments included her grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family and was an active member of the Church of Christ of Mountain View. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Dale Law officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mountain View. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
