Beverly Joanne Peterson, Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, Aunt and friend, born on June 10, 1937, has passed from natural causes, at age 88, on August 6, 2025, at Portage Hospital, with family by her side. She is now free from pain and confusion.

Mom was, for the most part, a stay-at-home mom. She loved baking, we could always count on home-made bread with our meals and cream puffs at holiday dinners. She prepared many joyful holiday meals.

We are going to miss some of her favorite sayings - crazy old bat, you reckon, crazy as ever and kiddo, to name a few.

Our mother was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Peterson, her sons, Kurt Peterson, and Morgan J. Peterson, and great grandson, Chase Anderson. Mom's parents, siblings and in-laws have also passed.

Mom is survived by her children, Marsha (Steve) Daniels, Scott (Amy Pace) Peterson, Nancy (Dave) Regis and Grandchildren, Ronnie Anderson, Nicole Thirty, Nathan, Morgan S. Peterson, Jeremy Regis. Great grandchildren include, Paige and Lila Rautanen, Ashlynn and Rylan Peterson.

Cremation has taken place and burial will be at the Atlantic Mine Cemetery.

We would like to thank the staff at Our Lady of Mercy Nursing Home in Hubbell and the staff at Portage Hospital for the kind care and support given to Mom and to us. Your kindness was very much appreciated, thank you.

The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is assisting the family.
