Beverly Shields Obituary
Beverly Ann Brantley Shields passed away Thursday June 1, 2023 at NMMC-West Point at the age of 74. She was born May 20, 1949 to the late J B Brantley and Cora Faye Cupitt Brantley.
A Funeral service will be held at 4:30 PM Saturday June 3, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Florence, MS. Visitation with family and friends will be 6-8 PM Friday June 2, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Starkville and 2:30 to service time Saturday at the church in Florence. Burial will follow in Shields Family Cemetery. Robinson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. John G. Shields, Jr. of West Point; sons, Isaac Seth Shields of OK, J.B. Shields of Richland, Lewie K. Shields of West Point; daughter, Alice Faye Ann Shields of West Point; 6 grandchildren, Joseph Shields, Brantley Shields, Andrew Shields, Savanna Shields, Connor Shields, John Austin Shields; many cousins and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, James Brantley.
