Brenda Lee Shields 68 of Roseville, CA passed away December 16th, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Brenda was born to Isabel & George Shields Sr. on March 2nd, 1957, she grew up on the Fort Belknap Indian reservation and attended school at Harlem High School, graduating in 1975. She attended Job corps in Excelsior Springs, MO after graduating high school. She also went to school at fort Belknap community college for awhile.

Brenda moved to california in 2016 where she lived with her family and made many good friends. She helped raise her younger grandchildren and loved family holidays when everyone would come together. Brenda's family loved her frybread and would ask for her to make it for special occasions.

Brenda loved being with her family and most importantly attending her grandchildren's graduations. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed going to church and tent revivals, one time traveling to Canada for church services. In the late 80's she stayed in lodge grass, MT for the summer and was adopted by Charlie & Bernice Jefferson.

Brenda was a very kind, caring, and trusting person. She would go out of her way to help others and knew how to make her family laugh. Brenda always let her family know how much she loved and appreciated them and they adored her.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Jennifer(Justin) Lee of Rocklin, CA, Jamie (Anthony) Firemoon of Roseville, CA and Jasmine Firemoon of Rocklin, CA. Her Brother Leroy (Squeak) Shields of Ft Belknap. Her grandchildren Lesha (Casey) Manriquez of Mckinleyville, CA, Alexis Manriquez of Travis AFB, Fairfield, CA, Leonidas First Raised of Rocklin, CA, Skyler Lee of Rocklin, CA, Jaxen Shankland of Roseville, CA & Bailey Narcisse of Roseville, CA. Her great grandson Mateo Manriquez of Travis AFB, Fairfield, CA. Numerous Cousins, Nieces & Nephews. Brenda is preceded by her parents Isabel & George Shields, Sr, her sisters Yvonne Lowdog, Philomaine Tucker, Georgian Shields and her Brothers William Shields, Jr and George (Sonny) Shields, Jr.
