Beverly Russell Skinner, 87, of Skaneateles passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025. She was born on December 29,1937 to Elsie and Leslie Russell of Whitingham, VT. She graduated from Whitingham High School and went on to Providence Bible Institute where she studied business and ran the switchboard part time at the school. She met her love, Philip Skinner and they married in 1961. They resided in Skaneateles for 56 years.

Beverly was predeceased by her husband, Philip Skinner and her grandson, Colt Badman. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Alan) Hurlburt, Lisa (John) Badman, and Karen Goldthwait; grandsons, Clint (Susie), Cory (Maddie) and Cody (Maria) Badman, Joshua Marion, and David Hurlburt; great-grandchildren, Collin and Amelia Marion, Cade and Gwen Badman.

Beverly dedicated her life to helping children; opening her home to those in need and serving in the church. Her ministries at Grace Chapel included, teaching Sunday school, singing songs with the children, singing with the choir, and serving as secretary. She owned and operated a successful business, Skaneateles Secretarial. She filled her life with her husband and children, enjoying singing, reading, sewing, baking, old movies, and thrifting with her neighbor. Mom, you held us all together. We love you.

A service for family and friends will be held at Butler-Badman Funeral Home, 4504 W. Seneca Tpk, on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 4:00 pm.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse.
